Rooftop Multi Use Games Area

As part of a multi million pound development Fieldform have been appointed to design and install a multi-use sports facility on a rooftop overlooking the river Thames. Works are due to start this summer and will create an innovative space for residents and the local community.

Due to the nature of the works and current building regulations, we were tasked with developing a rooftop sports system that met the requirements of external fire exposure to roofs, BS 476-3:2004 and CEN/TS1187:2012 – Test 4, including EN 13501-5 T4 classification.

After months of research and lab testing we were delighted to create a compliant system that has been approved by a UKAS accredited laboratory. This system will be installed by Fieldform to create a venue for several sports and also offer a flexible surface for outdoor exercise and strength and conditioning activities.
