New Daily Mile Track for Bramley C of E Primary School
Following the submission of several designs, Hampshire based design and construction specialists, Fieldform were appointed by Bramley C of E Primary School to design and construct a new, rubber surfaced track around an existing sports field. The new track was designed to provide a high wear solution for the Daily Mile Challenge and other activities throughout the year.
The construction phase took three weeks to complete, key tasks included:
- Setting out
- Excavation
- Aggregate sub base construction
- Surface installation
- Construction of soil mounds and general landscaping
Since completion in August, the new track has been extensively used by pupils, staff and the local community and according to the School’s PE lead ‘the surface is great’.
