Natural Turf Court
Constructing natural turf tennis courts that are robust enough to withstand the incremental British weather is a challenging task, using our extensive experience of fine turf construction we are able to offer clients a full design and construction that creates proven results. Our natural turf court designs include an innovative hybrid turf and a range of drainage options to ensure play can be maintained throughout the year
Macadam Court
To comply with facility guidance set by the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and the Sport and Play Contractors Association (SAPCA) our macadam tennis courts are built using a twin layer of macadam ensuring surface levels consistently provide a high level of performance despite regular and continuous use.
Synthetic Turf Court
To provide a softer playing surface less likely to cause lower leg injuries we can install a synthetic grass solution that provides clients with a sand dressed surface.
This type of surface is slightly slower than a more traditional macadam surface providing more time to practice shots and develop longer rallies.
I worked with Fieldform on a particularly different project, we wanted to combine a tennis court with a cricket practice net. They worked through various design options with me using their years of knowledge in the field and were absolutely brilliant about adapting things to exactly what we wanted. They went out of the box and created bespoke doors that when closed, worked to close off the tennis court and when open became part of the walls for the cricket net. It meant we could have the cricket run up on the tennis court to reduce the size of the cricket net. The tennis court is used as an astro for football in winter months so it is all used to the maximum. We love it all - brilliant! Fieldform were professional from the beginning to the end of the project, and still come back to maintain the facility and check we are still happy, I could not recommend them more highly.

Plan
We can provide clients with expert planning advice to secure permission for new tennis courts, this service includes production of design drawings, layout plans and creation of all supporting information prior to submitting a planning application.
Design
All Fieldform tennis systems come with a variety of design features including:
- Edging – subject to personal preference we can utilise a variety of materials to edge new tennis courts including block pavers and concrete kerbs.
- Fencing – if required, we can upgrade the standard fencing design to our Pro-Fence tubular design or heavy duty, twin bar panels.
- Drainage.
- Floodlighting.
- Covered courts – subject to securing the necessary level of planning permission we can cover tennis courts with fixed and telescopic domes to create a year-round playing environment.
Refurbishment
In addition to new-build tennis courts we offer a full refurbishment and re-modelling service giving old and tired courts a new lease of life. Services include:
- Overlaying existing courts to create a porous macadam playing surfaces.
- Surface painting and line marking.
- Extending existing courts to provide larger run back areas.
- Installation of recess areas to include practice facilities for cricket, basketball, football and golf.
- Converting macadam courts into synthetic surfaced facilities suitable for tennis and a range of other sports.
- Installation of new fencing.
