Following an extensive tender process Fieldform were appointed by the McLaren Group to install a two-lane polymeric sprint track and several artificial grass amenity areas on the roof of a new multi-million-pound development at the prestigious Brighton College in East Sussex.
Due to the rooftop location a standard installation process was not possible, to overcome the challenging works environment Fieldform designed an innovative solution that utilised a crated drainage system infilled with shingle combined with a tile-format shock pad. Intensive project management was required throughout our works to ensure the new facilities were delivered within a rigid timeframe. Challenges that we faced during the works included, extreme weather including heat and heavy rainfall making surfacing works difficult, the constant changing working environment and requirement to work alongside multiple trades and ensuring deliveries were scheduled in advance to enable access to the onsite crane.
Following the completion of the project at Brighton College, Fieldform have now been added to McLaren’s Level 1 sub-contractor schedule providing access to tender for future opportunities across the UK.

Both my team and I found Fieldform extremely professional, knowledgeable, experienced and more importantly to us on this project they understood what we wanted from the outset both commercially and operational. It was clear from our initial tender returns that they ‘know their product'. Fieldform clearly take great pride in their business and most certainly want to deliver a high-quality product each and every time. Richard was our first point of contact and dealt with any issue in a manner that was positive and looked to find a solution not find a problem or take an opportunity to maximise profit.
