Athletics Track Refurbishment
Ensuring Value for Money
In 2021 Fieldform were appointed by Test Valley Borough Council to design and project manage the full resurface of the athletics track at Charlton Sports Centre in Andover, tasks delivered included:
- Review of existing documentation including condition surveys
- Field testing to establish the construction details of the existing facility
- Creation of project costs to test the viability of the overall scheme
- Production of a detailed Bill of Quantities
- Assistance with the tender process and contractor appointment
- Project monitoring throughout the construction phase
To assist with these works Fieldform worked closely with a UKAS accredited laboratory to carry out Key Stage Inspections throughout the construction works. Following the successful appointment of Cleveland Land Services the project was completed ready for the main summer season and is now in use by local clubs, schools and colleges.
